In 1989, when Kuware CEO, Avi Kumar, was a freshman in college, he was hired by his host-family to write a computer program for their business. It occurred to him then that he could start his own business! He wasn’t sure yet though, whether he would be pursuing hardware or software in his future career, so he just integrated his surname, Kumar, and called it Kuware. He went on to become an Electrical and Computer Engineer, and later, earned an MBA. He continued to study both hardware and software development, eventually focusing more on the software side with his business, as he began offering a variety of digital marketing services. Over time, the company evolved into the marketing strategy powerhouse it is today, backed by the in-house digital agency he developed and nurtured along the way.
